The fothermo 80 liter hybrid boiler set with 800 W mains feed is the perfect solution to reduce your hot water and electricity costs. This set is ideal for households of 1 - 4 people.
The PV modules connected to the switching device generate hot water efficiently and free of charge in the solar boiler. If excess electricity is available, it is fed into the power grid via an 800 W micro PV inverter.
Depending on the number of photovoltaic modules, electricity price and hot water consumption, the solar boiler generates around 75% of the hot water required from photovoltaic energy. Together with the surplus feed-in, you save up to €550 in electricity costs per year.
Since a maximum of 800 W is fed into the power grid via the micro PV inverter, the entire system counts as a simple balcony power plant.
The solar boiler replaces a classic electric boiler. If there is insufficient sunlight, the boiler automatically reheats the water using electricity from the power grid.
